Gender Equality Workshop Successfully Conducted

A one-day workshop on Gender Equality was successfully organized on 2082/07/25 (November 11, 2025) under the coordination of the Nepal Scouts Koshi Province Office, managed by the Local Scout Office, Damak Municipality, and actively facilitated by Gender Equality Badge Ambassador Ms. Delina B.K.

The opening ceremony was graced by Mrs. Regina Bhattarai Prasai, Deputy Mayor and Local Chief Scout of Damak Municipality, as the Chief Guest, and chaired by Mr. Hemanta Bhandari, Provincial Chief Commissioner of Nepal Scouts Koshi Province.
Mr. Sajan Shrestha, Local Chief Commissioner, delivered the welcome remarks.

A total of 65 participants — including scouters, rovers/rangers, and scouts from various units and crews across Koshi Province — took part in the workshop.
The sessions were conducted by Gender Equality Badge Ambassador Ms. Delina B.K. and Women’s Rights Activist Mrs. Anu Bhandari, featuring interactive discussions and empowerment-based activities.

The program was further enriched by the presence of Provincial Training Commissioner Mrs. Shivani Dewan, Provincial Council Member Mrs. Maya Sibakoti, Provincial Youth Council Chair Mr. Kiran Budhathoki, along with several dedicated scout leaders, rovers/rangers, and scouts.
